Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will travel to France on October 8 to receive the first Indian Rafale combat aircraft manufactured by French firm Dassault Aviation that will come to India only next year.
The Congress Wednesday launched a fresh attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Rafale aircraft deal, alleging that he misused his office to “benefit” Dassault Aviation and that a case under the prevention of corruption law is made out against him.
“I don’t lie,” said Eric Trappier, the CEO of Dassault Aviation. “In my position as CEO, you don’t lie.”
Deputy Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Raghunath Nambiar, test-flew the first Rafale fighter jet manufactured by Dassault Aviation for India.
