US President Donald Trump has now granted India a significant relief by granting a six-month waiver from sanctions on the Chabahar Port project, as announced in a press conference by the Ministry of External Affairs.
Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal told in a press conference that India and the US have a deep and comprehensive strategic partnership, which cannot be affected by such misleading statements.
MEA spokesperson stated that this meeting is a significant step in the direction of world peace. He went on to say that India values the progress achieved during the discussions and thinks that only communication and diplomacy can lead to the future.
