A plot by terrorists to attack Pathankot on New Year’s Eve has been uncovered. A Pakistan-based terrorist organization is planning to attack the airbase, railway station, and other sensitive areas in Pathankot. The Punjab Police have detained a local accomplice, Billu Gujjar. Security forces have increased vigilance in the district, and strict checks are being conducted at interstate checkpoints.
