Fifteen wagons of a goods train loaded with limestone derailed in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer district on Tuesday, disrupting train traffic on the route, a railway spokesperson said.
With a blanket of dense fog engulfing the national capital on Friday morning leading to poor visibility several Delhi-bound trains were delayed, informed the Northern Railway.
West Bengal has written to the Railway Ministry requesting it not to send special trains to the state till May 26.
The State Government and the Railway Ministry will give Rs. five lakh ex gratia each to the family of the deceased.
Prabhu took to Twitter to share information on the same and posted, “Have ordered inquiry into the unfortunate accident to ascertain the cause. Strict action will be taken against any lapse”
