Adityanath said that the people of Uttar Pradesh have voted for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s agenda of development, adding the early trends clearly puts forth the hard work put in by the BJP workers.
The opposition Congress was surging ahead with more than 50 seats in the 117-member Punjab Assembly, followed by the SAD-BJP in 28 and AAP in 24 seats, as per early trends.
“Chief Minister was misquoted though there are no permanent foes or friends in politics, and ‘impossible’ word has no place in it,” said Agarwal.
“Ram Gopal Yadav’s statement is in itself contradictory because Akhilesh Yadav knew he won’t be able to form the government in Uttar Pradesh. Had he been confident, why would had he contested the elections by forming an alliance,” said BJP leader Shrikant Sharma.
“Our alliance is winning and such exit polls we saw in Bihar also. We will talk about it tomorrow when the results will be declared,” Gandhi told media.
“The alliance is getting majority in Uttar Pradesh. Akhilesh will be the Chief Minister,” Mulayam said.

Akhilesh Yadav claimed that the Samajwadi Party is leading in six phases and after the seventh phase, the party will again form government.
