The incident occurred near Green Chamber School in Patel Nagar, Nai Mandi Kotwali, when two groups of youths clashed after watching a Ramleela. Family members of the deceased are demanding strict action against the perpetrators.
The accused was listed among the district’s top-10 active criminals and involved in over 20 criminal cases registered across multiple police stations, including attempted murder, robbery and extortion.
According to the information received, on September 6, Yogendra Singh and his family had a dispute with some people of the village over throwing garbage. The matter escalated so much that the accused started firing with licensed and illegal weapons.
The attackers pumped three bullets into Manju who immediately fell on the road and died.
The accused killed his wife by hitting her with a pipe handle in a minor dispute. This incident created a sensation in the area.
