Case registered against NDTV co-founder Prannoy Roy

The CBI on Monday carried out searches at the residence of NDTV founder Prannoy Roy here and in Dehradun for allegedly causing loss to a private bank.

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday registered a case against Co-Founder and Executive Co-Chairperson of NDTV, Prannoy Roy, his wife Radhika Roy, a private company and others for causing an alleged loss of Rs 48 crore to ICICI Bank.

Prannoy Roy's residence in Delhi

The CBI said that searches are being conducted today at four places including Delhi and Dehradun.

CBI sources said that the case has been registered for causing an alleged loss of Rs. 48 crore to ICICI bank. (with ANI inputs)
