New Delhi: There is a stir in the market of luxury cars in India, but amidst economic challenges, Audi India chief Balbir Singh Dhillon is taking several important steps to strengthen the position of the company. He recently spoke on his strategies for the first half of the 2025 performance, future plans, and his strategies for the EV segment of Audi India in an interview.

Audi India performance in 2025

Balbir Singh Dhillon said that the first half of 2025 was full of some challenges, but the company faced them and turned it into an opportunity. Audi India has registered a 10% increase in its pre-and-and-car service' Audi Approved: Plus'. In addition, more than 6,500 charging points have been added, and Indian Olympian Neeraj Chopra has been made the face of Audi India. Dhillon is quite optimistic for the festive season, and the company expects good results.

SUV segment attention

There is a special focus in the SUV segment of Audi India. Dhillon said that the demand for Q3, Q5, and Q7 remains, especially in Tier-2 cities. Along with this, people are also getting attracted towards the sportsback body style. The focus of the company is to bring a model that looks attractive and make the driving experience great.

Audi plans in the EV segment

Audi India's commitment to electric mobility is clear. Dhillon said that the company has an app like 'Charge My Audi,' which includes 6,500+ charging points. Apart from this, 12 high-voltage battery repair centers have also been set up across the country. Their goal is to provide high-quality facilities and reliable service to electric vehicle users.

Pre-oven car business

Balbir Singh Dhillon, on the pre-and-on car business, said that Audi India's 'Audi Approved: Plus' business is growing rapidly. There are 26 locations and more than 500 vehicles available across the country. It is not only the sale of second-hand cars but also an excellent option to enter luxury cars in an affordable way. The company is planning to open new centers in the coming time.

Upcoming models and hybrid cars

In 2026, the new models Dhillon indicated that Audi was working on new models but did not share many details. Along with this, he said that Audi's focus is completely towards electric mobility, although there is also a demand for petrol models. In the future, Audi is planning to focus on EV models instead of hybrid cars.
