New Delhi: Following the implementation of GST 2.0, India's leading auto companies have significantly reduced the prices of many of their cars. Companies like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Kia, Tata, and Mahindra have significantly reduced the prices of their popular compact SUVs. This change has benefited customers, who can now purchase these vehicles at more affordable prices than ever before.

Maruti Brezza Prices Cut By Rs 30,000 to Rs 48,000

Maruti Suzuki's Brezza, which is sub-4 meters long and comes with a 1.5-liter petrol engine, has now become cheaper. Prices for the Brezza, which previously ranged from Rs 8.69 lakh to Rs 13.98 lakh (ex-showroom), have now come down to between ₹8.39 lakh and ₹13.50 lakh. This will save customers Rs 30,000 to Rs 48,000.

Hyundai Venue Becomes Most Affordable

The Hyundai Venue has benefited the most from the GST reduction. Its prices now range from Rs 7.26 lakh to Rs 12.05 lakh, down from Rs 7.94 lakh to Rs 13.38 lakh. The top-end diesel variant has become cheaper by Rs 1.32 lakh, while the base model has become cheaper by approximately ₹68,000. This SUV now falls in the 18% GST slab, making it more affordable than the previous 29-31% slab.

Kia Sonet Prices Reduced By Up To Rs 1.64 lakh

Kia's popular compact SUV, the Sonet, has also received a significant price cut. The Sonet now has a starting price of ₹7.30 lakh, going up to ₹14.10 lakh for the top variant. Previously, prices ranged from ₹8 lakh to ₹15.74 lakh. Both petrol and diesel variants now fall under the 18% GST slab, resulting in significant savings for customers.

Tata Nexon set for price drop as GST on small cars may slash to 18%

Prices of the Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV 3XO Dropped

Prices of the Tata Nexon have been reduced by up to ₹1.55 lakh. The company has announced that all petrol and diesel variants of the Nexon will now fall under the 18% GST slab, making it even more affordable.
Prices of the Mahindra XUV 3XO have also been reduced, ranging from ₹1.40 lakh (petrol) to ₹1.56 lakh (diesel). Its new prices range from ₹7.28 lakh to ₹14.40 lakh.
