New Delhi: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has officially taken the wraps off the second-generation Hyundai Venue, ahead of its much-awaited launch in November 2025. Following a series of teasers, the company announced that bookings are now open for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Customers can reserve the SUV through Hyundai dealerships or the official website.

The Venue, one of Hyundai’s best-selling compact SUVs, has undergone a complete transformation inside and out. With bold design updates and enhanced comfort features, the new model aims to strengthen Hyundai’s dominance in the fiercely competitive subcompact SUV market.

Completely Revamped Design and Dimensions

The 2025 Hyundai Venue sports a redesigned exterior, marking a clear departure from its predecessor. The SUV now features a full-width LED strip across the bonnet, connected daytime running lights (DRLs), and a larger parametric grille, giving it a futuristic and premium appearance.

Adding to the muscular stance are skid plates under the front bumper and functional roof rails, while the rear section flaunts sleek LED tail lamps linked by a black panel. The new alloy wheels complete the striking look.

Dimensionally, the SUV now measures 3995 mm in length, 1800 mm in width, and 1665 mm in height, making it 30 mm wider and 48 mm taller than before. The 2520 mm wheelbase remains unchanged, ensuring ample cabin space.

Premium Cabin with Advanced Tech

Inside, Hyundai has given the Venue a modern dual-tone (dark navy and dove grey) interior layout. The dashboard features a dual 62.5 cm (12.3-inch + 12.3-inch) curved panoramic display, combining the infotainment and digital instrument cluster into a single wide panel.

The cabin boasts a coffee-table style centre console with ambient “Moon White” lighting, dual-tone leather seats, and a new D-cut steering wheel. Additional features include an electric 4-way adjustable driver’s seat, 2-step reclining rear seats, rear window sunshades, rear AC vents, and a premium leather armrest—all designed to enhance passenger comfort.

Engine and Transmission Options

The new-generation Venue continues to offer multiple powertrain options, catering to different driving preferences. It comes with three engine choices:

  • 1.2-litre Kappa MPi Petrol
  • 1.0-litre Kappa Turbo GDi Petrol
  • 1.5-litre CRDi Diesel

Transmission options include a Manual, Automatic, and Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT).

For petrol variants, Hyundai offers trims ranging from HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX6T, HX8, to HX10. The diesel lineup includes HX2, HX5, HX7, and HX10.

Striking a Balance Between Style and Performance

The new Venue not only focuses on aesthetics but also on driving comfort and practicality. The combination of refreshed looks, advanced infotainment, and versatile engine options makes it a strong contender against rivals like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, and Kia Sonet.

Hyundai’s decision to open early bookings suggests strong confidence in the model’s appeal. With deliveries expected soon after launch, the next-gen Venue could once again redefine benchmarks in the compact SUV segment.
