Patna: The BJP leader Surendra Kewat was shot dead in Sheikhpura village of Pipra here in Patna on Saturday night. Surendra Kewat was the former President of the BJP Kisan Morcha, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
DSP Kanhaiya Prasad Singh of Masaurhi told the media that Surendra Kewat was around 50 years old. He was working in the field outside his village, during this time the miscreants shot him and ran away. People nearby reached there and took him to AIIMS in Patna for treatment but he died during treatment.
Besides, the news of another firing has also come to light in Kankarbagh, a posh area of Patna. Police is searching for the accused.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, a large number of people reached the hospital and demanded the police to arrest the accused in this case as soon as possible.

RJD leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has said that in the NDA government, there is no one to listen to the truth, no one to accept mistakes.
Tejashwi took to the social media X and wrote, 'And now a BJP leader shot dead in Patna!
'What should I say, whom should I tell? No one in the NDA government is there anyone to listen to the truth, no one to accept the mistake?
