Bihar: Tej Pratap Yadav’s party, Janshakti Janta Dal (JJD), has announced its first list of 21 candidates on Monday.

The party said it aims to field "energetic and clean-image candidates" who can connect with the youth and grassroots voters.

 

Tej Pratap became MLA from Mahua seat in the year 2015.

Tej Pratap Yadav stated that his party's goal is to give youth a new direction in politics and lead Bihar on the path of development.

He also stated that the Janshakti Janata Dal will be the voice of the common people and will address issues such as corruption, unemployment, and poverty.

Political analysts believe that Tej Pratap Yadav's move not only poses a challenge to the RJD but could also impact Bihar's electoral dynamics. Mahua is the same constituency from where Tej Pratap Yadav first entered politics as an MLA in 2015.
