New Delhi: Congress MP Mallu Ravi has expressed his concern over the sudden resignation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. He has alleged that this decision has been taken to give political advantage to the BJP before the Bihar elections.

Mallu Ravi says that the government wanted to get rid of Dhankhar before the Bihar elections, and now such a leader will be brought to this post who can strengthen the vote bank of the BJP in the elections. He clearly said that there is not only a health issue but also a big political reason behind the resignation of the vice president.

Mallu Ravi said that Dhankhar had conducted the session without any physical problems, and he is the Vice President of India, so we are worried about his sudden departure. Health reasons have been cited in the resignation, but he believes that it is related to political reasons. Especially in view of the Bihar elections, the BJP must have decided to remove him from the post.

At the same time, another Congress MP, JB Mather, called this resignation very shocking and unexpected. Senior leader Danish Ali also questioned this move and said whether it was really due to health reasons or there was something else hidden behind it. He said that such mysterious events are not in the interest of the country. Mather said that the Vice President had presided over the Rajya Sabha even today, and even though our views were different, he encouraged me to speak several times.

Congress leader Danish Ali also said that the reason for the vice president's resignation cannot be just health. There were some differences between him and the top BJP leaders, especially regarding the impeachment motion against the judges. He said that Dhankhar had made it clear that he would not come under anyone's pressure, and such differences are not in the national interest.

Meanwhile, there is also talk that Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, who hails from Bihar and is a JDU leader, is likely to be brought to the post of vice president. Congress's claim can be based on the fact that the BJP has made this change in view of the Bihar elections so that they can take electoral advantage.
