Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has carried out an administrative reshuffle, transferring 24 IAS officers. New responsibilities have been assigned across several districts and departments.

Earlier, 40 IAS officers were transferred on Sunday evening. In the list released on Monday, District Magistrates of several districts, including Ayodhya, Sonbhadra, Barabanki, Etah, and Ghazipur, were changed.

The decision has been taken with the aim of strengthening governance and speeding up administrative work. Officers have been directed to assume their new charges at the earliest.
