Patna: In a major administrative overhaul aimed at strengthening railway security and law enforcement, the East Central Railway (ECR) has transferred 63 Railway Protection Force (RPF) Sub-Inspectors across various divisions. The Railway Administration has also promoted four officers and assigned them to key positions.

63 RPF Officers Transferred, Four Promoted

According to official orders, 63 Sub-Inspectors posted at different RPF units under East Central Railway have been reshuffled. Additionally, four officers have been promoted and entrusted with higher responsibilities at important railway stations and security posts.

Major Changes at Gaya Junction

The transfer list includes significant changes at the RPF post of Gaya Junction. Sub-Inspector Javed Iqbal, who was serving at Gaya, has been transferred to Manas Nagar. Meanwhile, Woman Sub-Inspector Monika Singh has been posted to the RPF post at Rafiganj.

Both officers played key roles in maintaining station security and ensuring passenger safety during their tenure at Gaya.

Two New Officers Posted to Gaya

To strengthen security arrangements at Gaya Junction, the Railway Administration has appointed two experienced officers. Sub-Inspector Indal Kumar has been transferred from Manas Nagar, while Sub-Inspector Satyendra Kumar has been moved from Barauni to Gaya.

Railway officials believe their appointment will further enhance anti-crime operations and passenger security at the busy junction.

Move Aimed at Strengthening Security

Senior railway officials said the large-scale transfer exercise was carried out based on administrative requirements and operational efficiency. All transferred officers have been directed to join their new postings without delay.

The administration expects the reshuffle to improve coordination, accountability, and overall security across railway stations under the East Central Railway zone.
