2 workers found dead in Paschim Vihar
New Delhi: Two workers died on Wednesday while cleaning the premises of a hospital campus in the country's capital. Police have taken possession of the bodies of both and sent them for postmortem. The forensic team has also collected evidence from the spot. The matter is being investigated. This incident is from the campus premises of Balaji Action Hospital located in Paschim Vihar area of Delhi.
Police reached as soon as information was received
According to the information received in this regard, Paschim Vihar East Police Station had received information about two medico-legal cases (MLC) at Action Balaji Hospital.
Taking immediate action on receiving the information, the station in-charge of Paschim Vihar East reached the hospital with his team. Both the deceased were residents of Uttar Pradesh.

They were doing maintenance work of carbon filter
Initial investigation revealed that both the deceased fell unconscious during the maintenance work of carbon filter. This work was being done by AMC contractor in the hospital.
After this, the team of Crime Branch and Forensic was called to the spot. They did a thorough inspection of the spot and did paperwork as well as photography.
They have taken the bodies of the deceased into custody and sent them for postmortem. A case has been registered in this matter under the relevant sections of the law. The investigation is still going on. Also, the police is also interrogating the people nearby.
