New Delhi: The Haryana Police have launched a search operation for rapper Badshah after registering a case over alleged objectionable lyrics and visuals in his recently released Haryanvi track “Tateeree.”
According to officials, the Cyber Crime Police in Panchkula registered an FIR against the singer following a complaint filed by social activist Abhay Chaudhary. The complaint alleged that the song contained inappropriate content that could send a negative message to society.
Police said the case was filed under provisions of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986 and relevant sections dealing with obscene acts and songs.

Raids Conducted, Look Out Circular Initiated
Authorities confirmed that multiple teams have been formed to locate the singer. Raids have been carried out at several possible locations linked to him.
Police also began the process of issuing a Look Out Circular (LOC) to prevent the artist from leaving the country if required.
In a statement, officials said strict action is being taken against the spread of objectionable content through music videos and social media platforms.
Song Removed From Online Platforms
Following the registration of the case, police ensured that the video of the track was removed from the artist’s official YouTube channel. Notices have also been issued to remove the song and related content from other social media platforms to prevent further circulation.
Investigators said the video allegedly shows minor girls in school uniforms discarding their bags and running away from studies. Authorities believe certain words and visuals in the song could misrepresent the education environment and portray women in an objectionable manner.
