Man Arrested for threatening to blast Mumbai with 400 KG RDX using human bombs

A man named Ashwini has been arrested for threatening Mumbai Police about the infiltration of 14 Pakistani terrorists and bombing Mumbai with human bombs with the help of 400 kg of RDX. After a thorough investigation, Noida police arrested him and handed him over to Mumbai police.

Mumbai: On September 6, Noida Police arrested a man named Ashwini, who had threatened the Mumbai Traffic Police's WhatsApp number about the infiltration of terrorists and a big blast.

The accused had claimed that 14 Lashkar-e-Jihadi terrorists have entered Mumbai and a conspiracy has been hatched to explode 34 vehicles using 400 kg of RDX. Mumbai Police received this message on September 5, after which the police started the investigation and arrested the accused from Noida and handed him over to Mumbai Police.

The accused claims to be an astrologer

Investigation has also revealed that the accused, Ashwini, was trying to portray himself as an astrologer. However, the police are investigating deeply about what his real intention was. A mobile phone has also been recovered from his possession, from which threatening messages were sent.

The police is also investigating his past records and background to find out whether he was alone or associated with a big gang.

The message sent by Ashwini said that 34 human bomb-like vehicles have been parked in Mumbai, which will shake the city. He called himself a member of Lashkar-e-Jihad and said that 14 Pakistani terrorists have entered India. The threat mentioned the explosion of 400 kg of RDX, which was very serious. This message alerted the Mumbai Police, as any negligence could have led to a major accident.

Security arrangements and further action

After the threat message, Mumbai Police has tightened security across the city and the state.
