New Delhi: An FIR has been registered at the Laxmi Nagar Police Station in Delhi based on a complaint filed by Shweta Arora, wife of Rajiv Arora. The case, FIR No. 200/2026, has been registered under Section 79 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
According to the FIR, Rajiv Arora is associated with the medical business. The complaint alleges that Pankaj Jain, son of Satya Bhushan Jain, arrived at the Arora residence at around 10 p.m. on June 8 and claimed that he had helped secure medical tenders for Rajiv Arora at the behest of a person named Pradeep, but the commission for the work had not yet been paid.
The complaint states that Rajiv Arora was not present at home at the time. Shweta Arora reportedly asked Pankaj Jain to return later. However, she has alleged that Jain subsequently abused her and her mother-in-law.
The FIR further states that during the incident, the complainant’s brother-in-law, Pankaj Arora, also reached the residence and attempted to calm the situation, but Jain allegedly remained aggressive. The family then contacted the police through a PCR call.
According to the complaint, Pankaj Jain allegedly claimed to have influence at higher levels and threatened the family with serious consequences, including false criminal cases and physical harm. The complainant has stated in the FIR that if any member of her family suffers harm, both Pankaj Jain and Pradeep should be held responsible.
Police from Laxmi Nagar Police Station reportedly reached the spot and took Pankaj Jain with them following the PCR call.
According to Dynamite News sources, while the alleged incident took place on June 8, the FIR was registered nearly ten days later, raising questions about the delay in filing the case.
The matter has also sparked political discussion. Opposition leaders have alleged that since the formation of the new government in Delhi, irregularities and alleged commission-based practices in medical tenders have increased.
Adding to the controversy, political circles are abuzz with speculation regarding the identity of Pradeep, whose name has surfaced in the complaint. Unverified claims suggest that he may be related to a senior political figure in Delhi.
As the controversy grows, demands for a fair and transparent investigation are gaining momentum. Questions are being raised about whether there was indeed any commission arrangement linked to medical tenders, who the alleged beneficiaries might have been, and whether a larger network was involved.
