Following the development, the commission has issued a notice to the Delhi Police Commissioner, seeking a detailed report within two weeks.
The NHRC has asked authorities to provide updates on the victim’s health condition as well as the progress of the investigation into the incident. Officials said the commission will review the findings once the report is submitted.
According to media reports published on March 10, the incident allegedly took place on March 8, 2026, when the woman was taking photographs with a friend in a park in Malviya Nagar.
