The police suspect that these people have been involved in this illegal business for a long time and used to rent the hotel regularly for this work. ACP Akanksha Pandey said that a detailed investigation is being done in view of the seriousness of the matter. Strict legal action will be taken against the people whose names have come up.

The management of Rajendra Hotel is also being questioned intensively. The police are trying to find out whether the hotel operators were aware of this illegal activity, and if yes, were they involved in it? Many locals said that there were complaints about this hotel earlier too, but no action was taken.
