Hyderabad: Stree film actress Flora Saini, who had alleged domestic violence by her live-in partner during the #MeToo movement in 2018, joined Bigg Boss Telugu 9 on 7 September. She is one of the 11 contestants who entered the house to win the coveted trophy.

She revealed that she had distanced herself from her family as her family did not approve of the relationship. "Your parents see the red flags. The same happened in Shraddha's case. They first isolate you from the family. I had also left my house, and within a week I was hit. I could not understand why suddenly he was hitting me because in my eyes he was a very good person."
