Mumbai: Mumbai police detained two individuals—a man and a woman—who made separate attempts to illegally enter Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence, police said on Thursday, adding that security has been beefed up outside the actor's house, Galaxy Apartments, in suburban Bandra West, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

According to details, both the incidents occurred on May 20. Khan, who is facing a threat from the dreaded Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has Y+ security, and yet the two breaches were made.

The woman has been identified as Isha Chhabra, 33, and was arrested by the police and remanded into police custody until May 23. Another was a man, identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh, 23, who was detained and later released after being served a notice by the Bandra police.

Investigation revealed that the woman is a struggling actress while the man is unemployed. Both claimed to be fans of the superstar.
