New Year: Exiled Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch from Balochistan, Pakistan, has written an open letter to Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar on the occasion of the New Year. In this letter, he cited the historical ties between India and Balochistan and appealed for increased cooperation. On behalf of the 60 million citizens of Balochistan, Mir Yar Baloch extended New Year greetings to the 1.4 billion people of India.

Referring to the historical ties between India and Balochistan, the Baloch leader highlighted the historical, cultural, religious, and commercial ties between India and Balochistan in the open letter. He wrote that the two regions have centuries-old ties, rooted in shared traditions and beliefs. He described the Hinglaj Mata Temple as a symbol of shared cultural heritage, saying that such sites connect the two societies.

Sharp message against Pakistan

In the letter, Mir Yar Baloch took a strong stance against Pakistan, stating that the people of Balochistan have been facing oppression for the past 69 years. He appealed to India to cooperate in efforts to "uproot" Pakistan. The Baloch leader claimed that every citizen of Balochistan stands with India on this issue and is fighting for their rights and sovereignty.

The Baloch leader praised Operation Sindoor, launched by India after the Pahalgam terrorist attack, and commended the Narendra Modi government for its bold and firm action. He stated that India has sent a clear and strong message against terrorism, which has strengthened regional stability.

Concern over China-Pakistan Alliance

The letter expressed serious concerns about the growing alliance between China and Pakistan. He stated that the presence of Chinese troops could pose a major challenge and security threat to both India and Balochistan in the future.
