Davos: The 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) will bring together top leaders from government, business, and civil society from January 19-23, 2026. Under the theme “A Spirit of Dialogue,” Davos 2026 aims to provide a neutral platform for leaders to confront shared challenges and explore innovative solutions shaping the future.
At a time of major geopolitical, technological, and societal shifts, the meeting will spotlight collaboration, dialogue, and practical solutions to global issues. For over five decades, the WEF has convened leaders from diverse sectors to tackle complex challenges and drive sustainable progress.

The programme focuses on pressing global topics, including geopolitics, economic resilience, innovation, and technology. Sessions will explore renewed models of collaboration amid contested norms, shifting alliances, and uncertainty in global integration. Discussions will emphasize responsible deployment of transformative technologies such as generative AI, while highlighting human-centered aspects like workforce resilience, skills transitions, and well-being.
Davos will also examine sustainability, including secure energy, nature, and water systems, alongside strategies for inclusive growth within planetary boundaries.
Nearly 3,000 leaders from more than 130 countries will attend, including 400 top political figures—about 65 heads of state and government and six G7 leaders. Senior business leaders include 850 CEOs and chairpersons, alongside nearly 100 unicorn and tech pioneer executives.
Key political figures include U.S. President Donald Trump, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Heads of international organizations, including UN Secretary-General António Guterres, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, and WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, will also participate.
