New Delhi: The Aadhar card issued by the Government of India has become a mandatory document for every Indian citizen today. It is used for identification, address, and biometric details. The role of the Aadhar card has now become mandatory in almost every scheme and service of the government.

According to the information received by the Dynamite News correspondent, about 90% of the population of the country has an Aadhar card, but just getting an Aadhar card is not enough. It is also necessary to link it with various services and documents.

Aadhar linking is necessary in banking services

If you have a bank account and you take advantage of any government scheme or subsidy, then it is mandatory to link your Aadhar to the bank account.

Subsidy transfer: The benefit of schemes like LPG subsidy or Kisan Samman Nidhi comes directly to the account, which is linked to Aadhar.

• Opening a bank account: A PAN card is necessary to open a bank account, and it is mandatory to link the PAN card to Aadhar.

• PAN inactive: If your PAN card is not linked to Aadhaar, it may become inactive, which may affect tax-related problems and banking services.

Aadhaar linking with LPG connection

To avail the benefit of the LPG subsidy, it is necessary to link the LPG connection with Aadhaar. If your Aadhaar is not linked to LPG, the subsidy amount will not come to your bank account. Due to this, domestic consumers may have to suffer financial loss.

Aadhaar link with ration card is necessary

In many states, linking ration cards with Aadhaar has also been made mandatory. Its purpose is to eliminate duplicate and fake cards. If the ration card is not linked to Aadhaar, then government rations and other benefits may stop.

Aadhaar linking is also necessary in PF and NPS accounts

If you are employed and you have a Provident Fund (PF) or National Pension Scheme (NPS) account, then Aadhaar linking is also necessary in it. If Aadhaar is not linked at the time of claiming PF or withdrawing money, the process may get stuck. If Aadhaar information is not entered in the NPS account, there may be a hindrance in future pension benefits.

Aadhaar is necessary for these services

• For mobile SIM card

• School/college admission

• Income Tax Return (ITR) filing

• For making a passport

For all these services, either Aadhaar is required or linking with Aadhaar is becoming mandatory.
