Second batch of pilgrims leaves from Jammu
Jammu: Another batch of pilgrims left for the valley from Jammu on Thursday for the 36-day long Amarnath Yatra. The second batch includes 5246 pilgrims, who were sent from Bhagwati Nagar in Jammu amid tight security, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Pilgrims Enthusiastic
Pilgrims showed enthusiasm to have darshan of Baba Barfani. They were happy with the facilities and security arrangements.
In the second batch, there are some pilgrims who are going on Amarnath Yatra for the first time.
A devotee said that he has been coming here for Amarnath Yatra continuously since 2019. This time it feels very good.

Medical Camps
The Ramban Health Department has set up 17 medical camps along the Amarnath Yatra route along NH 44 in Ramban district for pilgrims.
Dr Kamal G Jadu, Chief Medical Officer, Ramban, said, "On behalf of the health department, we have set up 17 camps at langar sites and stay centres across Ramban district from Nashri Tunnel to Nawayug Tunnel. Mini hospitals have been set up at Yatri Niwas Chanderkot and Lambhar Ground, which have a four-bed indoor facility, a laboratory and an ECG unit."
Dr Jadu added, "We have also installed cardiac monitors there this year. Two ambulances have been deployed at Yatri Niwas Chanderkot, Langar Site at Chanderkot and Lambhar Ground. We have also kept back-up ambulances for any untoward eventuality... The National Highway Authority and the administration have provided four additional ambulances, which we have deployed for the Yatra duty."
