New Delhi: New Delhi continued to witness severe summer conditions on Saturday as the maximum temperature climbed to 43.2 degrees Celsius, making it one of the hottest days of the season so far. The minimum temperature settled at 32.4 degrees Celsius, offering little relief during the night.

Misty Morning Followed by Scorching Afternoon

The day began with misty weather conditions in several parts of the national capital before intense sunlight and dry heat took over by afternoon. Sunrise was recorded at 5:30 AM, while sunset is expected at 7:05 PM.

Humidity levels remained around 43 percent, adding to the discomfort for residents stepping outdoors. Atmospheric pressure was measured at nearly 100.5 kPa. Despite the extreme temperatures, there is no possibility of rainfall in the city today. The UV index stood at 2.6.

Hotter Conditions Expected Tomorrow

According to the latest weather forecast, Delhi may witness an even hotter day tomorrow, with temperatures expected to range between 34.9 degrees Celsius and 45.6 degrees Celsius. Authorities have advised people to stay hydrated and avoid direct exposure to sunlight during peak afternoon hours.
