New Delhi: On Rakshabandhan an incident of triple murder has shaken the entire Karawal Nagar area here in Delhi, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
A man allegedly strangled his wife and two minor children to death. The accused has been identified as Pradeep. He murdered his wife Jaya Shri, and two daughters aged five and seven after the couple has an argument. After killing the three Pradeep fled the spot. The three bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
The Delhi Police has registered a case and a hunt has been launched to nab Pradeep.
According to the local residence, this family was struggling with financial crisis and heavy debt for some time. It is suspected that Pradeep took this horrific step due to this mental pressure.
At the same time, the accused is absconding after committing this crime and the police have started searching for him. The police reached the spot and took the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem.
According to the neighbors, the family was of calm nature and there was never any quarrel or discord. After the incident, there is silence and mourning in the entire area. The police is investigating the case from various angles and the arrest of the accused is expected soon.

As per reports there was an altercation between Pradeep and Jai Shri over something, after which Pradeep took this horrific step and fled from the spot.
It is also learnt that Pradeep was troubled by financial crisis and debt for a long time. This stress made him mentally unstable and he killed his own family. The police have intensified the search for the accused by collecting evidence from the spot.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and an in-depth investigation of the case is underway. This heart-wrenching incident has turned the joy of Raksha Bandhan festival into mourning.
