According to the Delhi Police, a total of nine schools received the threats, including three in South Delhi. Delhi Police reported that the threatening calls and emails were received between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Following this, teams from the police, fire brigade, and bomb disposal squads immediately arrived at the scene and began a thorough search of the school premises. According to officials, several other schools have also received similar messages, which are being investigated.
