According to the Meteorological Department, this change in weather may become more pronounced in the coming days. While mild warmth is being felt in the plains during the day, mild cold still persists in the mornings and nights.

Heat during the day

The weather in Uttar Pradesh is undergoing a changing phase these days. Mild coolness is being felt in the mornings and nights, but the sun is becoming stronger during the day. Maximum temperatures in many districts have been recorded slightly above normal. Occasional clouds and light drizzle are also expected in the western parts of the state.

Dry weather in Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab

The weather in Delhi is currently remaining dry. Mild warmth is being felt during the day, while mild cold remains in the mornings. Pollution levels are also fluctuating. Similar weather conditions prevail in Haryana and Punjab. These states are experiencing mild mornings and moderate temperatures with clear skies during the day. However, a western disturbance is expected to cause cloud cover in some areas.

Heat wave intensifies in Rajasthan

The weather in Rajasthan remains dry, with temperatures rising rapidly during the day. The heat is particularly pronounced in western Rajasthan. However, a slight drop in temperatures is observed at night, providing some relief.

Cold weather persists in hilly states

Cold weather persists in the mountainous regions of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Snowfall is expected in the higher elevations, while light rain or cloud cover is possible in the lower elevations. Tourist destinations are experiencing cold winds in the morning and evening, creating a chilly feeling.

Severe cold in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh

Cold weather continues to prevail in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Minimum temperatures in the Kashmir Valley remain low, and many higher elevations remain frozen. Cold winds are troubling residents in Ladakh, though sunshine provides some relief during the day.

Gradually Increasing Heat in Bihar

The weather in Bihar is gradually warming up. After a mild morning chill, temperatures rise during the day. Light fog has also been observed in several districts, especially in riverside areas.
