Yellow alert issued
It is worth noting that the Meteorological Department had already issued a yellow alert for Saturday. According to the prediction of meteorologists, light to moderate rain was expected in the second half of the day, which proved to be accurate.
According to the Regional Meteorological Center, New Delhi, the maximum temperature of Delhi on Friday was recorded at 39.1 degrees Celsius, which was 1.9 degrees above normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature was recorded at 29 degrees Celsius.
Relief from heat
The Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be intermittent rains in Delhi-NCR in the coming week. People are expected to get relief from the heat due to this. The department also said that with the increase in monsoon activity, the temperature will gradually drop.
