Torrential rains continue to wreak havoc across the country
New Delhi: The havoc of monsoon is not stopping in many parts of India. Normal life has been affected due to heavy rains from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir. To deal with this situation, NDRF teams are engaged in rescue operations.
There is no relief from rain in the capital, Delhi, and surrounding areas at the moment. According to the Meteorological Department, moderate to heavy rains may occur today in the afternoon or evening. There is also a threat of thunderstorms.
However, a matter of relief is that the water level of Yamuna has now started decreasing slowly, due to which some improvement is expected in the flood situation.

Most of the districts of Uttar Pradesh can get relief from rain today. However, heavy rains are expected in districts adjoining Delhi, like Noida, Ghaziabad, and Baghpat. Light rain with thundershowers may occur in some parts of the state on September 8 and 9. There is a rain alert in the eastern and western parts of the state on September 10-11.

Bihar may get some relief from heavy rains today, but the warning of thunderstorms (lightning) is still in force. There is a yellow alert for strong thunderstorms, lightning, and heavy rain across the state on September 9. Heavy rain is expected in different districts between September 10 and 13.
Rain is not stopping in Rajasthan. Today a red alert has been issued in the Barmer, Jalore, and Sirohi districts. Apart from this, a moderate to heavy rain warning has been issued in Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Pali, Rajsamand, and Udaipur.

The weather is expected to become a little normal in Madhya Pradesh, which has suffered heavy rains in August. Today, i.e., on September 7, there is a possibility of relief from heavy rains, and the water level of the rivers is also expected to fall.
