Flood warning in Delhi-NCR
New Delhi: Heavy rains have started again on Wednesday amid flood warning in the NCR region including the national capital. Yamuna is in spate in the lower areas of Delhi and the water level has increased to 207 meters.
Due to rain, many roads in NCR have been waterlogged, due to which drivers are facing problems. Amidst torrential rains in Gurugram, people are worried about traffic jam.

15 thousand people displaced
It is worth mentioning that the water level of the river near Loha Pul was 206.85 meters at 9 am on Wednesday. Due to this, water entered the houses of people in the lower area. About 15 thousand people are living in relief camps.
The water level is expected to decrease from Wednesday night. 1.60 lakh cusecs of water is still being released from Hathni Kund per hour.

Irrigation and Flood Control Minister Pravesh Verma inspected the ITO Barrage on Wednesday and took stock of the situation. During this, he said that the situation is under control.

Train movement stopped from Loha Bridge
Due to the rising water level of Yamuna, after the movement of vehicles from Loha Bridge, now the movement of trains has also been stopped.
Waterlogging in DLF area of Gurugram
Most of the local trains coming from Ghaziabad to Old Delhi are being stopped at Shahdara station or are running via Tilak Bridge, New Delhi. This has increased the trouble of local passengers.

Earlier, the Meteorological Department had issued an alert of light rain with thunderstorms for today, Wednesday. The maximum temperature may remain around 32 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, Delhi's wind is blowing. Delhi's AQI remains in the satisfactory category below 100.
