

India foiled Pakistan’s missile & drone attacks, retaliated with strikes in Lahore & Sialkot, shot down jets. No damage to India, global calls for de-escalation.
New Delhi: India has foiled Pakistan's failed missile attack attempts by retaliating, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
The Indian Army carried out drone attacks on Lahore and Sialkot of Pakistan and destroyed the AWACS air defense system there.
Earlier, Pakistan had tried to carry out drone attacks in some areas of Jammu, Rajasthan and Punjab, but India's air defense system neutralized them.
India has also shot down Pakistani fighter jets. India's counter drone system and S-400 missile defense intercepted Pakistan's missiles.
Apart from this, the Indian Army shot down two JF-17 and one F-16 fighter jets of Pakistan, which were trying to enter the Indian border.
Amidst all this development, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh informed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the situation.
Electricity has been restored in Jammu, although there was a blackout for some time in some parts of Rajasthan, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.
Internationally, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke to India's Foreign Minister S. Talked to Jaishankar and stressed on reducing tensions. Jaishankar appreciated the commitment to work together with the US against terrorism and said that any attempt to promote terrorism will be countered.
