New Delhi: Amid rising military tensions between India and Pakistan, India Gate is being completely evacuated and no one is allowed to stay or linger around the monument.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, on Wednesday, Indian armed forces launched missile attacks on Pakistani terror camps under “Operation Sindoor”.

After this retaliation, the regional security situation has become extremely sensitive and strict security measures have been implemented in many cities of India.

India Gate evacuated

Apart from the airspace, security arrangements have been tightened in the capital Delhi as well. On Thursday (May 8), the deployment of Delhi Police and paramilitary forces has been increased. Security has been increased especially at sensitive monuments like India Gate.

Usually people are removed by 11 pm, but in view of the current situation, the police started removing all the people from near the monument by making announcements through the mike during the day itself.

25 airports closed amid tension

This military action has also had an immediate impact on India's civil aviation system. Flight operations have been stopped at 25 major airports in North and West India.

This includes sensitive cities like Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Jodhpur, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Rajkot and Pathankot.

Due to these decisions, more than 430 flights have been canceled so far. Due to which thousands of passengers have faced difficulties.

Partial operations are continuing at Delhi Airport, but more than 140 flights have had to be canceled there too. Air India, Indigo, SpiceJet and other airlines have either canceled flights in the affected areas or diverted them to alternative routes.

Apart from this, many international flights have also been affected. The impact of the attack was also seen on the air routes

After the Indian attacks in Pakistan, the impact has also been seen on the international air routes.

Most foreign airlines have either postponed their flights passing through Pakistan's airspace or started sending them through alternate routes.

This forced many flights to change their routes, which not only delayed flights but also increased the inconvenience of passengers.
