According to eyewitnesses, the devotees were walking on foot on the expressway while returning after darshan. Then an uncontrolled truck coming from behind trampled them. The collision was so severe that many bodies were found in a mutilated condition. All the deceased are said to be residents of Chimanpura village in Lalsot area of ​​​​Sawai Madhopur district.

As soon as the accident happened, there was chaos on the highway and traffic was also affected for some time. As soon as the information was received, the police of Mitrapura, Baunli and Lalsot police station reached the spot. The police took the bodies in their possession and sent them for postmortem and started searching for the truck driver.
