New Delhi: The ever-increasing military tension between Israel and Iran is now having a direct impact on the lives of Indian citizens living there. Indian youths who went to Israel in search of work from Pilibhit, Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh and Panipat in Haryana are forced to live in bunkers in Haifa city to save their lives these days.

According to the information received from the Dynamite News correspondent, a youth named Karan, a resident of Pilibhit district, said that he had gone to Israel a year ago for employment and is currently working in a factory in Haifa city. About 50 other Indians are also working there with him.

About The Situation

People present there said that as soon as there is a possibility of a missile attack from Iran or a missile enters the Israeli border, a loud siren starts ringing in the city. After this, within a few minutes, all the people have to take shelter in safe bunkers. These bunkers are built underground and are specially designed for war or emergency situations.

Work Has Stopped

Karan says that several factories have stopped work for the time being due to security reasons. The government there has strictly instructed all the workers and employees to remain alert and stay in designated safe places. People are living in an atmosphere of mental stress and fear due to the sound of bombing and sirens day and night.

Employment For Indians

In cities like Haifa, which were considered good employment and life opportunities for Indians in normal days, now there is an atmosphere of panic and insecurity. The Indian Embassy is also in constant touch and is giving necessary advice and assistance to the citizens.

Announcement Of Rescue Operation

No special rescue operation has been announced by the Government of India yet, but the family members have demanded that the government should make arrangements for the safe return of these Indians to their homeland as soon as possible. This crisis is not only challenging the safety of Indian workers but is also putting their families in deep worry. For India, this is becoming a diplomatic and humanitarian challenge, which needs to be taken seriously.
