Multiple Properties Attached Across Kashmir (Img: Internet)
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday attached multiple residential properties allegedly linked to drug trafficking networks across Srinagar and adjoining districts as part of the ongoing “Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan.”
According to police officials, the properties were identified during investigations into cases registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Police said the attached assets include several residential houses located in Srinagar, Budgam and Bandipora districts. Officials claimed the properties were acquired using proceeds generated from illegal narcotics trade.
Among the properties attached were a single-storey and a double-storey house belonging to Bilal Ahmad Sheikh and Aneek Ahmad Sheikh of Budgam. The two were named in a case registered at Saddar police station in Srinagar under the NDPS Act.
The combined value of the two properties was estimated at around ₹80 lakh.
In separate actions, police attached multiple residential houses in Srinagar belonging to individuals allegedly involved in narcotics-related cases.
A double-storey house in Chanapora linked to Suhaib Farooq Khan was attached in connection with an NDPS case registered at Chanapora police station. Police estimated the property’s value at nearly ₹1 crore.
Authorities also attached a three-storey residential property in Jawahar Nagar belonging to Mohsin Ibrahim Naqash and another house in Rajbagh linked to Farhan Manzoor Pandit.

Police said the attachments were carried out under provisions of Section 68-F of the NDPS Act after completing legal formalities.
In another major operation, a residential property in Bemina linked to Abid Hassan Dar was attached under provisions related to the forfeiture of illegally acquired assets. Officials estimated the property’s market value at approximately ₹1.7 crore.
Police stated that the operations are part of a wider campaign against narcotics trafficking in Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said the crackdown aims to dismantle financial networks associated with drug trade and target assets allegedly created through illegal earnings. The authorities added that investigations in several NDPS cases are continuing.
