New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has cancelled the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) results of some candidates.
The NEET PG results of 22 candidates got cancelled for using unfair means, Dynamite news correspondent reported. Out of the total, 21 candidates were found guilty of malpractice during the examination, while one candidate’s result was annulled under the order of the Karnataka High Court.

The decision to annul the results was made following a Karnataka High Court order. The court directed the cancellation of the result of one candidate from the 2025 session, emphasizing the legal framework supporting the board's actions.

The NBEMS has issued a formal notice stating that the scorecards of these disqualified candidates are now invalid. Consequently, these candidates are ineligible for employment, admissions, or registration purposes. The list of affected candidates has been published on the official NBEMS website.

In a post on X, the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) said that, following discussions with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), the NEET PG 2025 counselling process is expected to start in mid-October 2025. Shortlisted candidates can expect the process to begin around the third week of October, which will decide their college or university placements.
