Ukraine Rejects Terrorism Allegations

Ukraine firmly denied any suggestion of state involvement in terrorist activities. It reiterated that the country itself has been facing the consequences of terrorism and maintains a consistent stance against it in all forms.

The statement emphasised that allegations related to terrorism must be assessed strictly on verified facts, transparent procedures, and international legal standards.

Call for Fair and Transparent Probe

The embassy urged authorities to ensure objectivity, transparency, and impartiality in the investigation. It also stressed the importance of safeguarding the rights of the detained Ukrainian nationals in accordance with international law.

Ukraine expressed readiness to cooperate with Indian authorities through established legal frameworks, including bilateral agreements on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters.

Emphasis on India-Ukraine Ties

Referring to ties with India, Ukraine highlighted the shared commitment of both nations to combat terrorism. It recalled the joint position expressed during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ukraine in 2024, where both sides condemned terrorism in all forms and called for global cooperation.
