New Delhi: The winter session of the Lok Sabha adjourned until 2 pm today due to opposition protests. Opposition MPs raised slogans against the Special Population Revision (SIR). This session will run from December 1 to December 19 and is considered to be the shortest session under the Modi government.

The Prime Minister briefed MPs at the beginning of the session, but the opposition also protested on issues such as equality, income, Delhi pollution, the Red Fort blast, and foreign policy. This led to a tumultuous start to the session.
