Mathura: Bageshwar Dham's Peethadheeshwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has announced a special padyatra from 7 November to 16 November 2025. This yatra will be about 170 km long from Delhi to Vrindavan, and its purpose is to unite the followers of the Sanatan Hindu religion. Dhirendra Shastri has described this yatra as not only religious but also an ideological movement.
He said that the national anthem should be played in temples and mosques to show who loves this motherland and who does not. This yatra is not just a religious but also an ideological movement. The invaders are constantly trying to wipe out the Hindus, but we will not let this happen.
Purpose of the yatra
Dhirendra Shastri says that this yatra is part of the campaign to re-establish Lord Krishna in Mathura. He says, "This is just a glimpse; the real movie is yet to come." He hints that this yatra is the beginning of a long and big battle. Their main agenda is:
This padyatra has the support of sadhus and saints from all over the country. A meeting was held at Krishna Kripa Dham Ashram in Vrindavan on Monday in which more than 200 saints and mahants, storyteller Aniruddhacharya Maharaj, and BJP MP Manoj Tiwari also participated.
The outline of the yatra, discipline, and religious decorum were discussed in this meeting.
Nature of the movement
Dhirendra Shastri made it clear that this is not only a religious march but also an ideological movement. He says that invaders have tried many times in history to wipe out Hindus, but now is the time for Sanatani Hindus to unite and protect their culture and existence.
This march will end on 16 November with a visit to Shri Thakur Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan. Lakhs of devotees, patriots, and the general public are expected to participate in the march. It is being described as the biggest Hindu unity march in history.
