New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, following his tradition, celebrated Diwali with the nation's soldiers. This time, he chose INS Vikrant, India's indigenous aircraft carrier, stationed off the coast of Goa and Karwar, for his Diwali celebrations.

There, he addressed the naval personnel and praised the coordination and bravery of the three services during Operation Sindoor.

Diwali with the soldiers and a message of patriotism

Celebrating Diwali among the soldiers on INS Vikrant, PM Modi described them as the true strength of the nation. He said that when the country is threatened and the enemy is present, only the country whose forces are self-reliant and self-confident succeeds.

He believes that the one who has the courage to fight on its own is victorious.

The role of the three services in Operation Sindoor

The Prime Minister specifically mentioned Operation Sindoor, in which the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy jointly forced Pakistan to retreat.

He said that the tremendous coordination and strategy of the three armed forces in this operation demonstrated how capable and powerful India's armed forces are today.

INS Vikrant—A Symbol of India's Maritime Power

PM Modi described INS Vikrant as a symbol of infinite power and said that this ship not only exemplifies India's technological and military capabilities but also reflects the nation's self-confidence.

The rays of the sun on the sea and the lamps lit by the soldiers on Diwali created a special atmosphere, making the experience even more memorable.

Self-Reliant India and the Defense Sector

In his address, the Prime Minister reiterated the vision of a "self-reliant India." He said that India is now moving towards becoming an exporter, not just a consumer, in the defense sector.

The armed forces have compiled a list of thousands of items that will no longer be imported. This will further strengthen self-reliance in the country's defense preparedness.

Praising and Inspiring the Soldiers

PM Modi praised the soldiers' zeal, dedication, and sacrifice, saying they not only protect the nation but also inspire every citizen. He said that large ships, aircraft, and submarines are certainly impressive, but their true strength lies in the brave soldiers serving on them.

Prime Minister Modi's Diwali message was not just a celebration but a symbol of respect for the country's soldiers, a commitment to self-reliance, and the unity and strength of the armed forces.

This Diwali, celebrated on INS Vikrant, became a celebration of the enthusiasm, self-confidence, and patriotism of the Indian Armed Forces.
