Today and Tomorrow, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi would preside over Council of Ministers meet "chintan baithak" at Seva Tirth, to review the functioning and progress made by the various ministries. Today the session would start at 4 pm and Tomorrow, it would start at 9.30 am. Today's scheduled Cabinet meeting cancelled, sources said.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to chair a two-day “Chintan Baithak” (brainstorming session) with the Council of Ministers from today at 4 pm at Seva Tirth. With this, the scheduled Cabinet meeting has been cancelled, sources said. Tomorrow, on Thursday, the meeting would begin at 9.30 am, sources added.

Ministers To Review Performance Of Various Ministries

During the two-day meet, focus would be on reviewing performance across various ministries. Government sources said that ministers will be divided into six groups to deliberate on government-related issues, including the time-bound implementation of central schemes.

Sources said several rounds of internal meetings have already been held to fine-tune presentations, with ministers expected to outline key policy initiatives and reforms undertaken by their respective departments.

Focus On Future Strategy And Viksit Bharat 2047 Vision

The objective is to review the work completed so far, strategise for the future, assess ongoing activities at various levels of government. It also aims to identify new ideas towards “Viksit Bharat 2047”.

Extensive consultations were also held with relevant stakeholders as part of this process. Sources said as many as eight presentations and discussions on various aspects have been held before the Council of Ministers.

Two-Day Deliberation Process Ahead Of Future Policy Planning

The two-day deliberation process is part of this larger exercise, sources said. The meeting is expected to provide a platform for ministers to discuss progress, policy implementation and future priorities of their respective departments.
