Which Trains Will Resume Operation?
The railways have restored several major train routes. These include express trains connecting Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Jammu Tawi, Bandra, Kota, and Yog Nagari Rishikesh. In addition, trains from Vaishno Devi to Kamakhya are also returning to service.
Train No. 14609/10 – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to Yog Nagari Rishikesh, operating from November 1st.
Train No. 19803/04 – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to Kota, operating from November 2nd.
Train No. 19027/28 – Jammu Tawi to Bandra Terminus, operating from November 3rd.
Train No. 15655/56 – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to Kamakhya, operating from November 5th.
Resumption After Completion of Safety and Technical Checks
Uchit Singhal, Senior Commercial Manager of the Jammu Railway Division, stated that train operations were only resumed after the technical inspection and safety reports of the tracks were completely satisfactory.
These trains are being restored in the sixth phase. Prior to this, services of several trains were successfully restored in the first five phases.
