New Delhi: If you are unable to visit Mata Vaishno Devi, there is no need to worry. The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has launched a new initiative that allows devotees to receive Mata's Prasad without visiting the temple.

This initiative is especially beneficial for those who are unable to visit due to various reasons, such as health issues, time constraints, or travel restrictions.

'Prasad-cum-Souvenir Counter' Opened in Delhi

The Shrine Board has established a special counter in Delhi, called the 'Prasad-cum-Souvenir Counter.' This counter is located at Jammu and Kashmir House on Prithviraj Road in New Delhi. Its purpose is to provide Mata Vaishno Devi Prasad to devotees in the Delhi-NCR region, as well as Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

This facility will prove very useful for those who are unable to visit the temple directly to receive Prasad but still wish to connect with the blessings and virtues of the Mother Goddess.

The Specialty and Convenience of Prasad Distribution

Under this initiative, the Shrine Board collects Prasad directly from the temple and delivers it to this counter for easy access by devotees. Additionally, this counter offers not only Prasad but also souvenirs and other religious items.

This new facility has proven to be a great relief for devotees of Mata Vaishno Devi. Many devotees who were unable to visit in previous years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other reasons can now receive Prasad without traveling long distances.

This not only fulfills their faith but also strengthens religious sentiments.

Future Plans

This initiative by the Shrine Board is a positive step, and it is hoped that it will be implemented in other cities in the future so that more devotees can benefit from it. This will reduce crowding at the temple and ensure a more systematic distribution of Prasad.

Thus, this new facility of the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board is proving to be extremely useful and convenient for the devotees who want to experience the blessings of Mata without travelling.
