This exam was to be conducted between 13 and 26 September 2025, but on the very first day, serious technical problems, administrative flaws, and lack of availability of seats were encountered at many examination centers, due to which this step was taken.
SSC students demand justice after Eduquity’s repeated technical failures, will government act?
According to the official notification issued by SSC, three main reasons have been given for the cancellation of the exam:
Technical glitches: Problems related to computer networks, server or logins were encountered at many centers, due to which the students could not start the exam.
Administrative negligence: At some places, students were not given admission despite arriving on time.
Non-availability of seats: At many centers, the number of seats available was not as many as the number of students called.
Students Protest at SSC Headquarters
Delhi: The exam was cancelled at many centers, including Bharti Vidya Niketan Public School. Now this exam will be conducted again on 24, 25, and 26 September.
Gurugram: The exam was cancelled at MM Public School. Students alleged that despite arriving on time, they were not given admission, and those who took the exam faced technical difficulties.
Jammu: The exam was cancelled due to technical flaws.
Bokaro and Kolkata: Here too the exam has been cancelled. SSC has said that *new dates** will be announced soon for these cities.
Students who have put in months of hard work in preparing for the exam are disappointed and angry after this decision. They say that such mismanagement in such a big national exam is repeated every year, which breaks their morale.
Anti-SSC protests in Delhi: Student-teacher outrage, police action, and concern about the future
SSC has already announced new dates for some cities (September 24 to 26), while new dates for other cities will be released soon. Students have been advised to keep an eye on the official website of SSC.
Such negligence is not expected from a prestigious institution like SSC. To give students a better experience and respect their time, it is necessary that the examination centers be fully prepared in advance and the technical system be improved. It is hoped that SSC will take strict steps to avoid such a situation in the future.
