Recently, the Tom-Tom Traffic Index published its report on the busiest roads globally, gathering data from busy thoroughfares via 60 crore connected devices. In these cities, individuals spend the longest duration to cover 10 km. This also encompasses certain cities in India.

Dublin, Ireland

Dublin ranks 10th in the list of cities with the most sluggish traffic. Individuals in this area spend 155 hours annually in traffic. Covering a distance of 10 km requires a time of 32 minutes and 45 seconds.

Trujillo, Peru

The city of Trujillo, famous for its stunning beaches, is also facing issues with sluggish traffic. Individuals dedicate 102 hours annually to being stuck in traffic. The inhabitants of this city can cover 10 km in 32 minutes and 56 seconds.

Davao City, Philippines

The swift urban growth has caused roads in Davao to struggle with traffic. The yearly time wasted due to traffic in this area is 136 hours. Simultaneously, it requires an average of 32 minutes and 59 seconds to cover a distance of 10 km.

London is the most sluggish city in Europe, where congestion in the city center poses the greatest challenge. The typical travel duration in this area is 33 minutes and 17 seconds, with 113 hours lost each year because of congestion.

Pune ranks as the fourth city globally for slow traffic conditions. Each year, an average of 108 hours is lost due to traffic. Simultaneously, it requires 33 minutes and 22 seconds for individuals to cover 10 km on Pune's roads.

Bengaluru, India

Bengaluru known as India's tech hub, Bengaluru consistently makes headlines for its traffic issues. It ranks as the third most sluggish city globally regarding traffic.
