New Delhi: The national capital, Delhi, is currently in the grip of severe heat, where the temperature has broken all records. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi on Tuesday was recorded at 43.8 degrees Celsius.

According to the Dynamite News correspondent, many areas like Aya Nagar recorded a temperature of 45.5 degrees and 45 degrees Celsius on the Ridge. During this time, due to humidity and heat in the capital, people felt like it was 47.1 degrees Celsius.

At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for a heat wave for today, i.e., Wednesday, in which winds have been predicted to blow at a speed of 40 kilometers per 3 hours.

The weather will change soon

According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi is unlikely to get relief from the heat for the next two days. However, there is a possibility of change in the weather from June 12.

On Thursday, it may be partly cloudy, and there may be light rain with winds blowing at a speed of 40-50 kilometers per hour. A yellow alert has been issued for June 13, and light rain is also expected on June 14, which is expected to provide some relief from the heat.

Rising pollution in the capital

The pollution level in Delhi also remains a matter of concern. On Tuesday, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) recorded the pollution level at 251, which falls in the poor category.

Meanwhile, the monsoon is expected to become active again in the country. This year the monsoon knocked in Kerala on May 24, eight days before the scheduled time.

After which, the Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be heavy monsoon rains in South India between June 12 and 15, and during this time the monsoon will enter North India.

Monsoon reached these districts

At present, the monsoon has arrived in many cities of the country. These include monsoon Mumbai, Ahilyanagar, Adilabad, Bhawanipatna, and Balurghat. Apart from this, in the next few days it will reach Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, and eastern Uttar Pradesh.

The normal date of monsoon in Delhi is 28th June, but this time it is expected to arrive a day or two earlier. There is a possibility of severe heat and a heat wave in North India for the next three to four days.

In the last 24 hours, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 47.3 degrees Celsius in Sri Ganganagar. Delhiites are being advised to take precautions to avoid heat and pollution.

The temperature is expected to decrease, and the weather is expected to improve only after the monsoon becomes active.
